A Pencil Holder for LPOCF

Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a fabulous week so far. I am sorry for the belated post, but I have been very poorly. Well, better late than never, so in today’s post, I'd like to share my DT creation for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. The theme for the next two weeks is as always “Anything Goes”, and we have Pattie’s Creations as our generous sponsor, so I really hope you will find some time to join us in the fun.

For this challenge I made a pencil holder. The image I played with is called Mermaid Crossing, and I colored it in with markers. After making the holder (I followed Sam Calcott's instructions on YouTube), I adhered all the patterned paper. Then I matted the image on a piece of vellum. Next, I attached the computer generated sentiment, and my holder was done.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny

Feminine Challenge at Dream Valley

Hey there and welcome. I hope your week got off to a great start. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Dream Valley. Our theme is “Feminine”, and even though we don’t have any sponsors this time, I still hope you’ll find some time to join us.

To make this card, I grabbed one of my rubber stamps. To color the image, I used markers. I tried to match the shade to the colored cardstock I used for the base. After coloring, I die cut one side of the panel with a lacy border die. As I didn’t want to cover any part of my image, I did my most favorite technique for adding sentiments: the eclipse technique. To finish it off, I applied Crystal Stickles and Glossy Accents, and my card was done.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny
